Polish-American watercolor and acrylic artist, Dorothy Gal-Hahn, was born in sunny Cocoa Beach, Florida. Based now in Palm Beach, Florida, she enjoys creating whimsical and charming art full of color and personality. Inspired by her travels as an opera singer, Dorothy’s signature watercolor style captures the essence of each subject with expressive color, fluidity, and charm. Her company, Dorotka Designs, pays homage to her Polish heritage and childhood roots, blending nostalgia with fresh artistic vision.

 

From original watercolor artwork to unique hand-built ceramics and textile design, Dorothy welcomes commissions and projects of all shapes and sizes. She loves collaborating with clients and interior designers to bring their artistic vision to life!

Dorothy holds degrees from The New School in New York City and Rice University. Her art can be found in galleries, shops, and private home collections from Palm Beach to New York City, Houston, Santa Barbara, Asheville, and Cocoa Beach.
